I had a liposonal Glutathione supplement that came in small bags, which you can consume directly or mix in liquid, but it had a very specific taste. For a long time, I had cravings for it. It's weird to explain, but many times I simply felt like "I want some glutathione".

I'm much better now, I haven't felt that craving in months. And it's not like it was an amazing taste, my wife for example couldn't stand it.

That’s really interesting. When I still had PEM, I know I would really look forward to taking my glutathione and CoQ10 for the day - I couldn’t wait to feel closer to “normal.”

Now I feel somewhat neutral about them, because I don’t notice as much of a change after I take them - because my body is already making energy appropriately!

Sounds like we experienced versions of the same thing. I’m curious if anything specific helped in your recovery?

So besides the glutathione, I feel like ThiaMega from Objective Nutrients (high dose mix of 4 types of B1 vitamin) helped a lot (along with their ThiaVite). Again, I felt a sort of craving for them for several months, in the last week I'm suddenly not interested anymore in them.

What helped me get rid of PEM and brain fog was https://humanprogramming.substack.com/p/i-tried-david-chapmans-chronic-fatigue , which is like the most counterintuitive thing and I don't recommend it for most people with PEM, but in my case I had the courage to try it because I knew that many of my other symptoms were gone (frequent infections, metabolic inflexibility (I couldn't fast, needed frequent meals), better sleep, better lung function, etc). And it worked! From that day forward PEM and brain fog were gone. I still have less energy than a couple of years ago, I'm quite wiped out most evenings, but I go to sleep and I wake up normal.

Another thing that I think helped was improving my gut function. Here I'm more reluctant to name specific products, because I tried a lot of things and I'm not sure what helped and what didn't, but I do feel that things are better overall with digestion.

May I Suggest Fishcycline / Doxy... It's been proven to be beneficial in many Trials.
