Recovery Protocol Cheat Sheet
My entire recovery protocol with dosages
Hi everyone,
I’ve had a few requests to write out everything I did, with dosages, in one place.
I apologize it’s taken me so long - things have been so hectic! I’ve been meaning to write more in-depth posts explaining the mechanisms behind everything I did, but for now, I thought I’d just get this list out!
So here, without further adieu, is an overview of everything I took when I recovered from PEM. From now on this will be accessible in the top menu on my site, so you can reference it whenever you want.
Here’s a Google Doc with everything written out, so you can print it out as well.

Recovery Protocol - Cheat Sheat
Foundation/Nutritional Antivirals - began Feb. 2024
Matcha Green Tea - 1 serving daily - activates T cells ( I did this for 1-2 months)
Virgin Coconut Oil - 1-2 tbsp daily - antiviral, antimicrobial, antioxidants increase glutathione production - needs to be virgin/cold-pressed/unprocessed for full benefits
Forager Coconut Yogurt -1 serving 3-4x/week- contains several probiotic strains which can be beneficial in strengthening immune system and have antiviral properties (I went with this because dairy is an MCAS trigger for me):
Miso - 1/2 tsp daily - contains beneficial probiotic strains - needs to be unpasteurized - I went with Miso Master brand
Garlic sauteed in olive or avocado oil - 2-4 cloves daily - antiviral, boosts immune system, blood thinner. Note: chop garlic and leave exposed to air for 10 minutes to increase allicin production.

VitaFusion Alpha linolenic acid & Fish Oil supplement - 2 gummies daily - the healthier your cell membranes are, the harder it is for the virus to break through
Brazil nuts - 1 every other day - contain selenium which is necessary for glutathione production
Mary Ruth’s liposomal Vit C & E - follow directions on bottle
Nature Made Vit D - 2000 IU daily
Sublingual Methylated B12 - Horbaach brand - 5000 mg daily
Pillar 1 of Protocol - Mitochondrial & Metabolic Support - began June 2024
Alpha Flow brand glutathione - 550 mg daily - antiviral, antioxidant, strengthens immune system
CoQ10 - this specific brand is best - 50 mg daily - boosts mitochondria & energy
Niacinimide - antiviral properties
Pillar 2- Antiviral - began June 2024
Please note that for the reasons outlined in this excellent article from The Sick Times, I’ve unfortunately made the decision not to write about my choices in antivirals here. The truth is I am not sure how much of a difference antivirals made to my protocol. Thus far, antivirals have shown limited results in Long COVID. Depending on where your viral reservoir(s) are located, antivirals may or may not be able to get to them. I do not consider this to be the most important part of my protocol (that title belongs to glutathione and thymosin alpha 1).
Pillar 3- Immune Stimulant Peptides
Thymogen alpha 1: 1-2 capsules daily - I averaged 1.5 caps daily. Start small, do 1/4 -½ cap daily - open it up and just consume the powder.
Thymosin alpha 1 subcutaneous injections - I started very small, in increments of 0.1 mg, and found that approximately 0.4 mg a few days a week worked best for me, totalling approximately 1-1.5 my weekly.
Although these two peptides have similar names, they are not quite exactly the same. In the body, thymogen alpha 1 is made up of two bioregulators which are precursors to thymosin alpha 1.
Between the two, I found thymosin alpha 1 to be the real gamechanger, but I definitely had increases in energy from thymogen alpha 1, which can also be taken orally so it may be easier for people to start out with.
Also: Leading up to Treatment: (1 year before the above protocol):
Eliquis 5 mg once daily
Clopidegrel 75 mg once daily
I used both of these for about 3 months and then began to taper off as my improvements had reached a plateau. This was before I started investigating the antiviral treatments above. It’s unclear to me now whether I would have needed these if I had simply skipped to the above protocol, but I’m including this so you know everything I did.

Updates to the Protocol:
After a few episodes of mold exposure, I’ve had the opportunity to revisit this protocol. I’ve spoken with several practitioners in the biohacking space/ who believe there are commonalities what happens within your body when it’s struggling to clear a chronic pathogen, whether that’s a virus, a tick-borne illness, or even mold. Based on my experience, this seems to be true.
So for better or worse, I’ve had the opportunity to add on a few more things. If I were ever to go all through this again (or in the case of acute reinfection) I would add in:
PEA-Lut supplement (Mirica brand) 2 capsules daily - shown in multiple clinical trials to improve cognitive symptoms & smell and taste loss in LC. Activates innate immunity in the brain, having an antiviral effect, and also inhibits mast cell activation.
PQQ- 20 -40 mg daily - antiviral and stimulates the creation of new mitochondria.

More info to come!

I had a liposonal Glutathione supplement that came in small bags, which you can consume directly or mix in liquid, but it had a very specific taste. For a long time, I had cravings for it. It's weird to explain, but many times I simply felt like "I want some glutathione".
I'm much better now, I haven't felt that craving in months. And it's not like it was an amazing taste, my wife for example couldn't stand it.
May I Suggest Fishcycline / Doxy... It's been proven to be beneficial in many Trials.
