I’m working on a ton of new ideas to share, but before I move forward, I want to take a moment and collect some of my most popular scientific threads.
These are some of the main ideas I started with, as I began to plan my combination antiviral trial. However, I do think there are some universal concepts here, as I draw from findings in other chronic infections such as Hepatitis C and HIV. I think these tips may be useful for other chronic infection sufferers such as ME/CFS and Chronic Lyme. They may also be useful for other subtypes of Long Covid, especially where it comes to energy production.
I wanted to share these here not only for the original posts themselves, but also for the wealth of knowledge which the community has shared in the comments. A lot of first-hand wisdom here!
Long COVID Research Updates
2/29/24- New preprint from Rodriguez et al.: Restrained CD8 T cell response as a potential cause of viral persistence in Long Covid
Note: You may have seen the NIH’s addendum clarifying some of Dr. Bertagnolli’s language. In my perspective, this does not change any of the content of what she was saying. Since this interview, a great deal of additional evidence has come out, confirming the idea of replicating virus in Long Covid.
Evidence for a Bone Marrow Reservoir:
2/11/24 - Analyzing data from Dr. Morgane Bomsel & colleagues pointing to replicating virus in bone marrow
In chronic infections, such as Hep C and HIV, immune cells are known to become “exhausted” from trying to fight a pathogen that they can’t clear. Exhausted immune cells have also been found in Long Covid and ME/CFS as well.
However, it may be possible to begin to restore some of their function - these threads look at how.
Natural Killer Cells
4/13/24 - Original thread explaining rational for Natural Killer cells & glutathione
Currently researching glutathione to see if it can activate natural killer cells in #longcovid

CD8 T-Cells
5/23/24- Glutathione may play a role in restoring CD8 T cell function as well! Building off of info shared by Dr. Lisa Seelin at Remission Biome Research Roundtable.
Okay I think that’s everything for now! If you’re interested in trying glutathione or antivirals yourself, I definitely recommend reading through the comment sections, as people shared a lot of great info there.
So much more to say moving forward - stay tuned!
